OUR LIBRARY

The Library is the heart of the school it’s the Hub. A library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. To ensure that a child gets to read what he likes, the school organises on campus exhibitions and book fairs.We have subject related books from Philosophy to Religion, Arts and Recreation to English literature and Fiction, from Biographies to Adventure and not to forget Hindi literature and fiction. The library also subscribes magazine and journals.

OUR PLAYGROUND

St.john’s School are encouraged to play a variety of sports. Nationally-trained coaches come to the school to coach the boys and Girls.Cricket, , table tennis, badminton, basketball, and athletics tournaments are also built into the calendar. Facilities exist for all indoor and outdoor games. Park equipment designed especially for the Primary School children keeps them active and in good spirits.

COMPUTER LAB

The computer was born to solve problems that did not exist before, computer science is a compulsory subject in the school. Computer labs offer a lot of scope for all children to acquire hands – on training. The School has a well developed computer center with first-rate machines. facilities allow students to surf the internet. Instructors and faculty members are available to help students to learn and use computer extensively for their learning.It is fully equipped to provide child friendly activities through interesting software. Each child has his/her own work station to practice.Computer education begins right from Nursery and goes up to class VIII. In the lower classes, computers are used as a means to learn other subjects. The Computer labs also facilitate senior students to acquire programming skills.

“Without Laboratories men of science are soldiers without arms” The Science lab equipment allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. St.john’s school students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts. It is also found that school science lab equipment and supplies make teaching and learning easy both for the teachers, as well as for the students."
